About Us

Founder Story

We’re developing Mind-O-Gram because mental-health needs are surging worldwide, about 1 in 8 people live with a mental disorder, and during the first year of COVID-19, anxiety and depression rose by ~25% (WHO).
It also hit my family like a wave. In the years after COVID, around the time my son and daughter were vaccinated, their anxiety and depression surged. Whether related or coincidental, what mattered was watching two bright lights dim while we navigated a system that felt subjective and inconsistent. Too often, medications are offered on fragile assumptions, guided by long checklists that miss what’s really happening. Then our young, brilliant cousin gave up his life, there are no words for that kind of silence. At the same time, my father faded into Alzheimer’s, missteps in diagnosis, medications that didn’t help and sometimes deepened his suffering, little losses, every day, for years. (Globally, an estimated 57 million people lived with dementia in 2021, most due to Alzheimer’s, numbers rising quickly.)
Our story isn’t rare. Millions struggle quietly, without nearby clinicians, without the language to explain what they feel, without timely, objective guidance. I’ve tried to build tools like this before.
In the mid-2000s I founded a biotech company, Synadex, with three outstanding scientists and clinicians in Eastern Europe. We focused on common liver disease and saw promising results, including derivative ideas that could help other conditions. The 2008 crash forced me to stop funding, but I kept the lessons.

Mind-O-Gram is my second chance, turning signals into clarity so families and clinicians can act earlier, adjust faster, and prevent the worst. It isn’t about replacing human judgment; it’s about giving it a reliable compass. If we can shorten the distance between “something is wrong” and “here’s what to do,” fewer parents will watch their children disappear into the fog, fewer families will carry grief alone, and more of our elders will be seen with dignity.
